Liam Reynolds

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Graduate Diploma in Economics.

CAREER TO DATE:

I was admitted to practice in 2007 in South Australia, while working for a small Adelaide firm focused on high-volume debt recovery. The nature of the work meant that I was able to appear in Court on contested matters several times per week since prior to my admission.

Since 2008 I have worked at Gall Standfield & Smith, focusing primarily on commercial litigation and debt recovery, but also practicing in other areas including general commercial, employment law (for both employers and employees) and criminal/traffic law.

SPECIALIST AREAS:

Commercial litigation, employment law, criminal law.

MEMBERSHIP TO PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS AND / OR COMMUNITY GROUPS:

Queensland Law Society
Brisbane Racing Club

MOST REWARDING EXPERIENCE AT WORK:

Anytime I am able to get a good result for a client, particularly a conclusively good result in a litigation mater; that is always very satisfying.

THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE I’VE BEEN GIVEN:

Trust your own judgment and be careful about blindly accepting the advice of others.

AFTER HOURS I LIKE TO:

Go to the gym, walk the dog, cook and otherwise be a homebody.

WHAT I WOULD BE DOING IF I WASN’T A LAWYER…

Perhaps a political journalist, or doing something in economics.
